I’m so happy that Sue & Rob were able to celebrate their wedding before lockdown took hold of the country. I can’t imagine two people more deserving of their special day! This wedding had it all; love, laughter, tears AND singing waiters!!
We arrived at the bride and groom’s home where Sue and her bridesmaids were getting ready, this gorgeous family home was filled with excitement in the air as well as lots of hairspray! The couples three energetic boys were running around in their brand new suits and shoes in anticipation of their mummy and daddy’s big day! Even the family cat (who I probably took 500 pictures of) seemed to know something was going on!
After Sue had wowed us all with her dress, the bridal party enjoyed a glass of bubbly and before we knew it, it was time to set off!
Bunny Hill Farm was absolutely stunning; this rustic setting was the perfect place to say ‘I do’. The drinks were flowing, selfies were being taken and the catchups were in full swing…bring on the ceremony!
So many tears of happiness were shed as Sue & Rob tied the knot (I may have welled up myself)!, their friends and family were clearly delighted to see these two lovebirds making it official! After rings were exchanged, a smooch and a few throws of confetti; it was time for some couples shots – these were some of my favourite pictures from the wedding!
As everyone was relaxing into the day and enjoying their meals, there was suddenly a loud crash! As everyone was looking round confused to see what the noise was, one of the waiters bounced up from the middle of the room with a microphone and started singing (some absolute bangers!). This really got the guests in the mood for a boogie!
Sue and her dad shared a slow dance together on the dance floor, which was one of the most touching moments of the whole day, as everyone crowded round and was silent as father and daughter swayed in unison.
Sue & Rob clearly adore each other; it was such a pleasure to capture their day and I wish this little family a lifetime of happiness together!
As always, thank you to Lily North Photography for having me along, it was a blast! x
